Nico Digital Review 2026: My Honest Take

Nico Digital Review

Nico Digital says it serves 175+ active clients, has run 327+ SEO campaigns, and has a team of 110+ people. The agency started in 2011 in Kolkata. Its SEO plans cost about Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 3,00,000 per month. It also says clients stay for 60+ months on average. All of these numbers come from Nico Digital’s own website.

Those are big numbers. But an agency’s own website tells only half the story. So I read what clients, staff, and review sites say. Then I scored the agency on six factors. This is my honest Nico Digital review.

TL;DR

  • Nico Digital is an SEO agency from Kolkata with a sales office in Mumbai. Aditya Kathotia runs it.
  • It works mostly with D2C, B2B, and fintech brands. It now sells AI SEO and AEO too.
  • Clients rate it high: 5.0 on Clutch and 4.8 on GoodFirms. But only 8 client reviews sit behind those scores.
  • Staff rate it 2.6 out of 5 on Glassdoor. I see that as its weak spot.
  • Plans start near Rs. 50,000 per month. That is a lot for an early startup.
  • My overall score is 3.5 out of 5. It suits funded, mid-size brands best.

History of Nico Digital

Aditya Kathotia started Nico Digital in Kolkata. The agency’s website says he founded it in 2011. Clutch, GoodFirms, and Glassdoor all list 2010. Either way, the agency is about 15 years old.

It began as a full digital shop. The team built websites, ran ads, handled social media, and did SEO for all kinds of brands.

Over time, it narrowed its focus. Today it calls itself a revenue-focused AI SEO agency. It has added digital PR, AEO, and even ChatGPT ads to its menu.

The head office sits in Chatterjee International Center on Park Street, Kolkata. A second office in Andheri, Mumbai handles sales and marketing. The leadership team includes Meghna Sethia (Director of Marketing), Yash Kathotia (Director and CFO), and Prabha Shaw (Head of Operations).

Which Factors Do I Judge Nico Digital On?

I use six checks for every agency I review. I give each one a score out of 5.

What Does Nico Digital Offer, and How Did It Score?

Nico Digital sells SEO, ecommerce SEO, digital PR, AI search (AEO), paid ads, and social media. It also runs a white-label SEO program for other agencies.

Proof of results: 4 out of 5

The website lists 25+ case studies. One shows a B2B SaaS brand, Discover Dollar, growing organic traffic by 2,833% in five months. A client review on Clutch tells almost the same story. That match earns my trust.

I cut one point because the brand started with only about 75 visits a month. Big percentages come easily from a tiny base.

AI SEO skills: 4 out of 5

Nico Digital treats AEO as a main service, not an add-on. It lists 5 AI and AEO specialists on its team. The work covers structured data, llms.txt files, and content that AI tools can cite. One client says this work put them inside Google’s AI Overviews.

Still, I found only one public case with AI search proof.

Price and contract: 3.5 out of 5

SEO plans run from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 3,00,000 per month. After the first quarter, you pay month to month. You own your GA4, Search Console, and Ahrefs accounts. The agency also refuses to promise rankings, and I respect that.

The terms are fair. The price is the hard part for small firms.

Clear claims: 3.5 out of 5

Some numbers do not match. The website says 2011, but three outside profiles say 2010. Team size shows up as 100+, 110+, and 120+ on different pages. These gaps are small, but I notice them.

What Do Clients and Staff Say About Nico Digital?

Clients rate Nico Digital high. Staff rate it low. Here is what I found in October 2026.

SourceRatingReviewsWhat stands out
Clutch5.0 / 51Fast team, but light onboarding notes
GoodFirms4.8 / 57Clear reports and lower ad costs
JustdialAbout 4.3 / 542 ratingsA mix of client and staff comments
Glassdoor2.6 / 515Only 42% would tell a friend to work there

Three things caught my eye:

  • The review count is small. Eight client reviews across Clutch and GoodFirms is thin for an agency with 175+ clients. This explains my 3.5 for client reviews.
  • The reviews are very new. Six of the seven GoodFirms reviews arrived in September 2026. Most of them praise paid ads work more than SEO.
  • Staff ratings are weak. On Glassdoor, some past staff complain about pay and work culture. These reviews are anonymous, and I cannot verify them. But when staff leave often, your account can change hands. That is why team stability gets 2.5.

What Are the Pros and Cons of Nico Digital?

What I like

  • It refuses to promise rankings.
  • You own your data and tools.
  • You face no long lock-in after the first three months.
  • It has separate playbooks for D2C, B2B, and fintech.
  • It builds AEO into the core service.

What I do not like

  • Plans start near Rs. 50,000 per month.
  • Outside client reviews are few and very recent.
  • Staff ratings are weak.
  • Some company facts change from page to page.

Who should hire Nico Digital?

Nico Digital fits funded D2C brands, B2B firms, and fintech companies. These teams have the budget and need many hands. A small startup or a local shop may find it too costly.

Why You Should Give Road To Top 5 A Chance for Your AI SEO

Not every brand needs a 110-person agency. Many startups need a small team that knows their business well. That is where we come in.

At Road To Top 5, we work with startups and growing companies. Here is why we deserve a look:

  • We are founder-led. Our founder, Mohit Verma, brings 10+ years of SEO experience.
  • We follow the FPDP framework. We Find the best chances, Prioritise them by revenue, Discover new ones, then Plan and Execute.
  • We build for AI search. Our LLM SEO, AEO, and GEO services help your brand show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
  • We chase sales, not just traffic. We pair SEO with conversion rate optimisation so visitors turn into buyers.
  • We show our work. Read our SEO case studies for brands like Ozonetel and Nanak Accountants.
  • We keep plans clear. Pick from our SEO packages, or choose B2B SEO, ecommerce SEO, or local SEO.

Is Nico Digital Worth It? My Final Verdict

I give Nico Digital 3.5 out of 5. It has real case studies, fair contract terms, and a clear AI SEO offer. Those are solid strengths.

The gaps are the small number of outside reviews, the weak staff ratings, and the price. So ask for client references before you sign. Ask who will handle your account too.

If you run a funded brand, put Nico Digital on your shortlist. If you run a lean startup, compare it with a smaller, founder-led team first.
